Expertise and Experience
Sam Long’s practice is devoted to counseling individuals and businesses in matters involving estate planning and administration, family wealth preservation, and federal, state and local taxation. He supports his clients in all issues of corporate formation and taxation, particularly for entrepreneurial business owners who may be faced with Texas sales and franchise tax audits. Mr. Long also offers expertise in advising on tax issues related to the ownership and operation of corporate and personal aircraft. Mr. Long is board certified in Tax Law as well as Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also an adjunct professor at UNT Dallas College of Law.

Sam is an active member of the Tax and Probate Sections of the Dallas Bar Association, as well as the Tax and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the State Bar of Texas, and as a contributing author to State Bar publications.

Sam serves on the Board of Directors of Dallas Christian Women’s Job Corps, Inc. He is actively involved in pediatric and young adult cancer awareness having had a family member face those challenges. He is also a deacon at the Park Cities Baptist Church.
